I've just come across a great site/blog called PostSecret. It's an ongoing art project where people anonymously send in home made postcards with a secret on. They get scanned and put upon the blog for all to see.
Some of the secrets are really quite moving - people's talks of former abuse - as either the abused or the abuser. There are also postcards of regrets - like the one which was bought for the sender's father, but never got sent to him because he forgot and when he remembered it was 'too late'.
I suggest you go and read them all...
