Old School Reports...

I've just been looking through my Record of Achievement and found some old school reports...

Daivd is a highly motivated student who has many impressive qualities. He has helped to organise and participated in a wide range of extra-curricular activities. His own personal statement shows his independence and breadth of interests. David has been very involved in the school house system and has been a prefect this year, enabling him to spread his enthusiasm for school activities down into the lower school.

David is a very pleasant student, who is liked by both students and staff withing the school. Manners and personal relationship with both staff and fellow students cannot be faulted. He is a student who can be relied on to complete set tasks.

I'm not conviced it's actually written about me at all... The bit about "Manners and personal relationship with both staff and fellow students cannot be faulted" cracks me up :-) Wonder what sort of relationships I was getting up to.

Edward is a young man with what seems to be a very relaxed attitude towards life and also that nothing bothers him. He just needs to continue in the same mould of hard work and commitment over the next year and he should acehieve the required grades to continue his studies in further education. He does seem to have a sixth snese when it comes to timekeeping, but overall a very good year. Well done!

"what seems to be a very relaxed attitude towards life and also that nothing bothers him", eh, that still makes about as much sense as it did when I first got given the report, wow, way back in 1999.

Edward has made a good start to the course. He should aim to express his thoughs more accuratly and clearly in his written work.

Does this blog express my thoughts well enough? No... probably not.

Edward always shows a lively interest in the work and is making excellent progress. His written work has imporved in presentaion but can still lack detail. He should get a high grade in the 'A' level. PH2 Mock result: 58% (D)

Clearly getting a D means I'm going to do well...
