Toph's pointed out to me that he wasn't getting email updates about the blog having being updated. This was due to me upgrading w.bloggar (great piece of software by the way!) to the latest version, which broke the thing that tells my emailer that I've updated the blog. I've fixed it all now I hope...
This sort of reminded me that new people who read my blog won't actually know that they can be sent an email when I update! So, I've added a link on the sidebar thing so that you can email me should you want to get added!
I've also made a cunning little icon thing that goes next to links that will fire up your email client too!
It appears that I've not completely fixed the problem :( Arse.
Posted by: Ed on January 15, 2005 3:40 PMI've bodged it for the time being... I've set up a cronjob that checks if the blog has been updated every 10 minutes... if it has it'll send the email. This means that there might be a post on my blog... and you won't have got the email because the 10 minutes isn't up... also... if I post 2 posts in the same ten mins you'll only get the email about the last post I made.
