The left lift has been out of order for the last few days. This is nothing usual really. Anyways, earlier today I had the humour of waiting for the right lift whilst listening to the men on top of the left taking to one another... "pass us the spanner mate". Must have been a big job I thought, bearing inmind it's been out of order for ages.
I called the lift earlier. Imagining to have to wait for ages for the right one to arrive. But it was the left one... I chanced it and entered. "Doors Closing". Haha. "Going Up". Hehe. "Doors Opening. Floor Ten". They've only spent the last few days making it talk. This is going to get annoying! Wonder if I went from Ground to say floor two it'll say "Lazy Fucker"? Just a thought...
Now let's see if they do the right one as well.
I spy a covert reprogramming job in the near future...
Posted by: Joe on January 6, 2005 4:23 PMHehe. The right one seems to have already been done! It's now damn annoying when you wait for the lift. Mainly because you can hear them both all the time. Least you can guess which lift is going to arrive for you!
My guess is that it's something to do with the new disability regulations, I can't see any other reason.

Which is quite cool, 'cause I'm learning Braille from them now. The silly thing is that there isn't Braille on the buttons you press to actually get to a floor... yet.
