Well I'm sat all alone at home, with sod all else to do... so I've been playing with openLIB again. If you hover over the 'Recently Commented' links you'll get a little version of the comment - that way you can see if it's changed since you last looked, without having the visit the page!
I'm too good to you all :-)
Networking gone a bit quiet then?

Posted by: TraB on August 7, 2004 1:13 AMWell there are no posts on the thing from Owen's or Rob's sites 'cause they have fallen off the bottom of the list.
However, earlier in the week there were posts from Rob and Owen's sites that didn't appear (and one from Sarah's) this was due to weblogs.com not getting a ping from them, so I never knew that anything had been updated. A tiny bit of a problem that - can be solved by Rob and Kate by using my magic weblog pinging proxy, that will get a ping through eventually without fail... but for Owen and the other blogspotters I don't know... unless you'd not got 'ping weblogs.com' turned on when you made your last few posts or something.
I've done a bodge fix by making my script be forced to update from everyones site once a day. If I decided that this still isn't good enough to keep folks updated, I'll do it once every two hours, that's not that excessive is it?
Hmm... this has nothing to do with my Recently Updated comments thing... oh well.
If your comment wasn't about recently on other sites then you'll have to explain a bit better what you're on about.
