Today I got the parts I needed to finish my receiver, and the parts requitred to build the transmitter.
Here are the fruits of my labour!
The ribbon coming off the side of the transmitter goes to the original accelorometer interface (seen here in a previous post) which used to have to be hard wired to the computer. As of yet the acceloremter unit doesn't actually transmit any acceloremter data (although this should be easy to do... famous last words...) instead it repeats some text over and over again. The range is quite large as well which is good.
