First Person View Remote Control Plane

I've just come across this that I thought I'd show you. It's video footage from a remote controlled plane some guy has built with a tiny camera in it. Cameras in remote controlled planes is nothing new - this one's quite funky though - the 'pilot' wears a head set which shows the live video feed and that has a gyroscopic angualar sensor. The sensor relays back to the camera which way the pilot is poining and move the camera accordingly...

OK... that was quite a crap description. Press "Play" and all will come clearer - as for if you think it's as cool as I thought, well that's up to you!

Yes, it is quite cool.

I thought the 'plane' was lacking something though, like wings, a propellor, the ability to fly and other things of that ilk.

As Tom's quite rightly pointed out in my last post... there was no plane. That is because I'm an ejit... (continued: Hang on one cotton picking minute!)
