OK, so it probably wasn't a pig... probably a midge... but look what it's done to my bastarding arm!

The round thing is a penny - one has to have perspective on photos like this! Oh, these zoomed in photos aren't really good at showing where things are.. the big lump could look like my elbow or something...!

Some antihistamine tablets are on route... over the phone the pharmacist decided it's probably infected so I might be off to the doctor's tomorrow for another opinion... they'll prolly tell me it's acne though(!)
Bloody-FFS! I've often thought this, but what the hell is wrong with you, ed?!!?! Tee Hee - Only joking but struth mate, are you sure you're not now implanted with some alien egg or something? Maybe a little baby Ed will pop out of it one day... Get well soon! Si.
Posted by: Si on July 13, 2006 7:14 PMi hope you killed the little sod that bit you!!! when I got bitten the other week I ended up on antibiotics cos they thought it could be infected - unfortunately I was bitten on my wrist and leg and ended up with a swollen wrist and hand!
Posted by: Kate on July 13, 2006 10:45 PMBloody 'ell!
Please tell me where you were when you got that, so that I can never go there.
Posted by: Joe on July 14, 2006 8:43 AMAt home!
He was talking to me whilst I was doing some gardening. I gave up after not too long because the insects were just driving me insane.
Kate aren't you always on antibiotics? and no I dind't kill the sod, 'cause it was only in the morning when I realised what had happened!
Yesterday afternoon when I measured my swelling it was 9cm long I think... well it's now 16cm long so I've decided it best to go and see the doctor.
No doubt I'll come back with a perscription for some anitbiotics... woo yeah!
Posted by: Ed on July 14, 2006 2:15 PMNot quite always on them - just a lot of the time! Your bite sounds very similar to mine, when I first measured it I had a circle of 2" diameter the following day it was about 6" diameter! (well that was the one on me leg anyway!)
mine went down fairly quickly, so hopefully your arm will be returned to normal size soon!
