I go to renew the TV Licence, to find out that I can't renew the licence, I have to wait for tomorrow because you've cancelled the fucking TV licence because you didn't want a fine if it expired... how does letting it expire mean you get a fine? It's not the guy who used to have a fine who gets done, it's the dude who's using the TV in the place without the licence who get got - which could well have been us seeing as this place wasn't licenced anymore and I only found out when trying to renew the licence, you twat!
