Yet another crazy travel day is over!

I woke up this morning at 6am French time. Fair does, I said bye to Amanda (who had to go to work) and fell asleep again... but still. Travelling started at 9.30am french time when I got the bus to Gare de Verdun all by myself, it was really scary. Waiting at the station was also rather scary, especially as the strike had only finished at 8am that morning.... would my train arrive on time so I could make my connection to Paris in Chalons, would I even be able to understand announcements telling me otherwise?

Well the train arrived... at the wrong platform... but it arrived. Trains arriving at the wrong platform at Verdun isn't such a big deal... as you can see everything and just walk over the tracks to get to the train. The chance of the train at the other platform being wrong was also slim as Verdun doesn't see many trains...

Blah blah blah.

I made it to Paris ok and ordered a McDonald's meal with a yorkshire french accent :)

Then I arrived at the airport and found a biiig queue. Putain de baggage handlers et check-out dudes... they were on strike today... so there was 4 checkout desks open for all the EasyJet flights... a long queue. A very long queue.

Hmmm finially got on my plane a little later than expected and erm that's that. The plane was nice and new having been deleviered from Seattle earlier that morning, 'twas only it's second flight so it was nice and clean and stuff. And Mel from Airline was the head cabin crew person.

That's about it. I'm really really tired and about to go to zzzzzzz sleep.
