On Monday I went out for a chinese lunch with Amanda and her friends. This was cool - even if the conversation did get interuppeted with a phone call for me :)
Yesterday we went up to London. We did the following:
Exciting, huh? Expect some typical tourist in London photos when I get back :)
Is the Blaine-in-a-box real or a trick? Is the box completely transparent? If so how does he go to the loo etc?
Posted by: John aka JJ on September 11, 2003 8:47 PMI didn't read this when you wrote it.... Could you have made your visit sound any more boring? Anyone would think I had FORCED you to come!
Posted by: Amanda on September 12, 2003 11:03 PMWell pardon for me for not being verbose :) Or have I missed something?
Posted by: Ed on September 12, 2003 11:11 PMWell whats the point of just writing what we did? Who cares that we walked around london all day and went for a Chinese? (Cue people saying 'ooh I care') No point in writing it if YOU don't even think its interesting!
Posted by: Amanda on September 12, 2003 11:14 PMI didn't feel I had the time to write a huuge indepth review of the day. But thought I could post something. Sorry. I'll write another one if you like...
Posted by: Ed on September 12, 2003 11:16 PMNo just cut out the bits that make you sound bored to death by the whole thing...
Posted by: Amanda on September 12, 2003 11:20 PMI wouldn't know what those bits were.
Posted by: Ed on September 12, 2003 11:20 PMIn reply to JJ's post...
I reckon he's really in a box, and the box is transparent. However there is a duvet in there with him. People who don't eat food don't crap - although I belive he had some nappies or summat. He pees in a tube.
The only way I can see him cheating is if the water isn't actually water and it's fortified with something.
Posted by: Ed on September 12, 2003 11:25 PMCould be in liquid form fed to him through some kinda pipe. That's the problem I have with Blaine now. In the past he's shown himself to be an out-and-out illusionist (i.e. he obviusly really didn't levitate etc.). This makes people more cynical with all of this Houdini-type stuff he's started doing (or it should do). Anyway, don't let me interrupt you two!
