I went on a little bike ride this evening in order to test the correlating of the GPS images...
Here be the results... inlcuding a trace of where I rode...
You'll notice that it's not worked perfectly... the canal appears to run through a car park, but it's pretty close. If you're observant you'll notice that there is a point that's not on the red line! How can it be? Basically the data at that point became a mess so I cropped the red line... however... a picture got correlated to the data before I threw it away...
So, yeah, all in all not too bad! It's only like a few meters out in places. Although at some points at the beginning and the end it did go crazy sending me miles away from where I was :-( It didn't like the railway bridges! or the bridge over the canal... and I was on that... not under it! Hmm...
