Do you remember the olden days where you used to say 'Sorry, you've got the wrong number'. And the person would apologise and hang up?
Well it doesn't happen like that anymore :)
I've just spent about 3 mins talking to someone who'd called the wrong number thinking that I'd hired a car from them... "You've got the wrong number I think."
"Oh."
"So you are not Mr Cromwell?"
"Nope"
"Oh"
A long discussion was then held about the phone numbers and what she'd dialed and things. Then she decided that she'd got the wrong number (no shit). Hung up, and promptly phone me back.
"Hello again, it's still the wrong number."
"Well I dialled the same one again."
"Erm, yeah, seems like you did!"
She said she'd look into it, and not phone me back. Hehe :)
